Instructional Design Projects

In Spring of 2012 I got a Graduate Assistantship with the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene. It's been a rewarding experience with applying instructional design practices. My responsibilities at the school of nursing is to provide support to faculty and staff with meeting the objectives and goals of the school and courses through a diverse means of instruction. I am also responsible for helping instructors design and manage their courses using the course management system, Sakai. With the growing number of learning environments, distance education is another means of instruction, that I provide support with.
One way of delivering instruction is through a virtual classroom called Blackboard Collaborate. This platform allows instructors and students to learn beyond the four walls of the classroom. I had the opportunity to put on a series of three workshops to train faculty with using Blackboard Collaborate effectively.

Course Design and Management
During my Graduate Assistantship with the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, I helped design, manage, and support the following courses and activities:
